Is this a certified medical or nurse-call system?
No. Aqara devices are for building automation, comfort and monitoring. They complement, but do not replace, certified medical equipment or nurse-call systems.
Does it keep working if the network goes down?
Automations run locally on the Aqara hub, and on-site edge deployments are available where data must stay on premises.
Can it connect to our existing systems?
Yes. Aqara offers open APIs, and Aqara Studio supports protocols such as Zigbee, Matter, MQTT and KNX IP for integration with building systems.
Are cameras needed in patient areas?
No. mmWave presence sensors detect occupancy and movement without capturing images, which protects patient privacy.
